One doesn’t need an excuse to enjoy “garmagaram parathe( stuffed wholewheat flatbreads)” on a cold winter morning. Yes, the air-cons have been sent to their annual hibernation and the woollens have been aired, for winter has officially arrived in Hong Kong. The Sun God has been kindly obliging and I am not complaining. Reason enough for these Sattu Parathas ( wholewheat dough stuffed with roasted chickpea flour and spices) with freshly set yogurt and (chinese) chilli garlic oil ( making up for the lack of homemade achaar).
