#InTheBlog FITNESS // Fitness has always been a big part of my life. When I was younger I trained in karate and tae kwon do (swipe left). From middle school until high school I ran cross country and track and field. And for the last ten years, I’ve been practicing yoga. Fitness at first was a hobby to keep me out of trouble. Then it was a method to obtain a “perfect body”. Now, I view fitness in a completely different light. I use fitness to not only strengthen my body but my mind. Check out more in today’s blog post!
when the best friend says,
‘hey let’s press on the edge over there’
it took a while but I / we finally did it!
@annelieyoga thank you for always pushing me out of my comfort zone & encouraging me to try new things - you rock bestie, don’t ever change, love you 💗✨
ps - the excitement was too real after I almost (key word: almost) face planted at the end 🤦🏻♀️😂
Is there a yoga pose you’ve always wanted to try but have been nervous about? 🧘🏽♀️ This is that pose for me! I always thought it looked so cool, but I can barely do a handstand with two hands😂
This really was difficult though. I had to move all my weight to one arm. That’s a lot of weight on one little wrist. But I did it! I was scared and super tired when I was done but happy for pushing myself. It was just a little thing, but it made my day.
So I challenge you to give that yoga pose you always wanted to try a go. Maybe it won’t work out or maybe it will! No matter what, you will have tried and that’s more important that anything.
