Meal prep for the week. I usually make my sauce with veal and pork but I’m trying a 10% cut this week so it’s ground turkey and pork. I weigh out one serving of pasta and cook it separately to see what the cooked weight is so I can portion out my meals more accurately. I’m trying to get rid of the last 2 pounds from the holidays but still make filling, yummy comfort food. 80c/22f/41p and 699 cals are pretty great macros for pasta and cheesy bread. Let's talk #veggies 🥒 my current favorites are asparagus, steamed whole green beans, steamed broccoli, and a specific stir fry blend from Target. I also LOVE veggie pasta or legume pasta, like this edamame and red lentil blend here. Tomatoes are my favorite non-sweet fruit and one of my very favorite foods. I eat the fruits and vegetables I enjoy and prepare them to my liking. No need to force down vegetables you hate. I have actually been enjoying a lot of meatless meals, maybe meat only once a day or even less, and the balance seems to work best for me right now. Steak makes me feel great and ties with pizza as my favorite food, but I'm happy to be making small changes and don't have it as often. 😊 My food sensitivities always get worse after a contest prep diet, so I try to really listen to my body and eat what feels right and digests easily. I don’t think I say “thank you” enough to Maya. For teaching me all that she does. Reminding me of so many things. And demonstrating perfect squat form. So I’m going to practice that more this week - that gratitude that is. Well the squats too, but you know what I mean 💕

Meal 1: Breakfast casserole + toast or Oatfit oatmeal + raisins
Meal 2: Ground turkey + Brussel sprouts
Meal 3: Yogurt + blueberries or apples + almonds
Meal 4: Taco bowls ..
Once I get through these meals, I’ll regroup with my fridge and plan out Thursday & Friday 💪🏼🤗
