Molasses flapjacks made with no refined sugar, just some maole syrup and date molasses...a slight #bakingfail as they dont hold together well. Taste good though 😋Next time i shall add a blended banana or some flax egg and see how that goes.
At the expense of sounding very cliched, life isn’t always what it seems. I was highly disappointed the way these cookies came out. I envisioned nice crackling on top. A little more height and I was going to redo them and decided not to. The flavor? The texture? OUT OF THIS WORLD AWESOME!!! my kids were begging me to taste another one and another one. To be honest they look like stones you find in a spa! No? But they’re sooo good it’s worth it to post the recipe!
1 Bag chocolate chips (appprox 10 oz)
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking powder
3/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cocoa ➡️melt the margarine and chocolate in a microwave safe bowl or double boiler and set aside ➡️mix the eggs, vanilla, sugar and baking powder very well and stir in the melted chocolate ➡️slowly add the flour and cocoa and mix just until incorporated (don’t over mix) ➡️chill the dough for 30 minutes and then shape and bake 350° for 10 minutes ❄️freezes amazing
