It's energy reset time! Today we are moving up to the Heart Chakra with this card from my Essential Oil Chakra Affirmation Deck. We'll use sandalwood essential oil and an emerald crystal today to support this energy center. While sitting or standing in a comfortable spot with your feet flat on the ground Set your intention for presence. Begin by taking three deep breaths holding each for a count of three and on each slow exhale release tension, stress and to-do's. Allow your shoulders to drop and just relax. On your next deep inhale bring your attention to your heart chakra. Place your hand here if you like (with the crystal!) to help you focus. Visualize this beautiful green energy clearing and expanding. Expand it's energy downward through the lower chakras and upward through your crown. And then expand it outward into your aura. Surround yourself I this loving, healing heart chakra energy. Repeat this affirmation as many times as you like: "I love my connection with myself, nature and the Divine." I feel that we all know we are part of something both huge and intricate. Part of the seen and the unseen. We create ripples that affect and we are affected by ripples created by other people and forces. Love and honor this connection. And most importantly, send out the ripples you want to receive. Its energy reset time! Be honest, do you listen to your body and take time for any number of things you can do as an energy reset? They can be as short as 5 minutes but the benefits are exponential. These cards are just one way to #energyrest. Today's card is from my Crystal Chakra Affirmation Deck. We'll focus on the Solar Plexus chakra so if you'd like to amp up this energy get out your gorgeous prehnite and some rosemary essential oil. Now find a nice spot where you'll be undisturbed for the next few minutes. Place your feet flat on the ground to get some beneficial grounding in, and set your intention for presence. Take three deep breaths holding each for a count of three and on each slow exhale release tension, stress and to-do's. Allow your shoulders to drop and just relax. On your next deep breath bring your attention to your solar plexus chakra located just a couple inches above your belly button. Visualize this sunny yellow energy clearing and expanding. Repeat this affirmation as many times as you like. The intention is for it to kind of click within you. "I choose the best for myself." Make a commitnent to do this. Too often our "best" is put aside for others. Sometimes it's necessary of course, but if you make a habit of it you'll find resentment settling in. There does not need to be a 50/50 balance here. The scales should definitely tip in your favor. You want to be the best and healthiest version of yourself. Others will naturally benefit from that. You can give more fully and be more present if you are feeling fulfilled and know that you choose you first and foremost. Yoga 🧘‍♀️ & now just waiting for my little plant based pizza to cook. Made on a bed of low carb high protein pizza base thanks to @proteinbreadco. Tonight’s theme is anything green 🌿. My body’s been really craving greens lately. I woke up this morning and jam packed my morning juice with all things green but I still can’t get enough. So I’m intuitively eating, listening to what my body wants & needs instead of trying to control it and forcing things into my body just because I think 🤔 that’s what I should be eating. I’m also eating when and if I feel like eating. I’m not being controlled by time (as this really is just a concept) I’m eating when my body tells me to eat. My aim this year has been to stress less, listen to myself more, exercise according to how my body feels and moves and create a more positive balance & flow.
