Happy Choose-Day, and what a Tuesday it is... “This International Day of Happiness is more than just a fun celebration, it also remind us all that the world is a better place when we connect with and care about the people around us”
— Dr Mark Williamson (March 2015)

I highly recommend adopting “grab everything out of your fridge & put it in a giant bowl” as a cooking strategy — this one is potatoes, butternut squash noodles, chicken sausage, mushrooms, roasted Brussels sprouts, an egg, & kale pesto.
Special shoutout to daylight saving time for the reappearance of natural light in my house ☀️
When the switch “flips”...👉🏻 I’ve always wondered about the phenomena in our brain that acts like a switch flipping from “OFF” to “ON”—-like how we are able to go from not wanting to do something to waking up one day and being completely ready to go for it. ☝🏻Case in point: I’ve joked about this with my boyfriend’s plans —- We’ve been together for 5 years and know we want to get married and start a family together. BUT not now, (and who knows when really lol,) because the switch for that kind of commitment has yet to be flipped in his male brain 🤷🏼♀️. But this isn’t about my romantic relationship; it’s about my relationship with food and exercise. 🙏🏻The switch flipped in December for me to REALLY start (as opposed to just think about and pretend to start lol) my #amenorrhea#recovery journey. I thought that was it. I was ready and committed, but I still missed every day cardio. Then last last week, another switch flipped. This time, it flipped so that I no longer desired to do cardio. 🏃🏼♀️Over-exercise, and not even moderate or minimal cardio, sounded good anymore. Like not at all. 🤢Taking a leisurely walk, or just plain resting my body, called to my soul instead. ❤️ So that’s what I’m doing 👉🏻 Resting. Eating. Honoring my body. And praying that my body trusts me enough to heal. 🙏🏻 For those of you that struggle with cutting your exercise or increasing food, try your best but give yourself grace. As you start to hear your heart more, another switch might just flip for you, too...
Wowww @wwpounddropper Oreo Thin Cheesecake for the win!!! I was too impatient to let it sit so it’s a little sloppy for a pic but I had to share because it’s delicious!!!! If you are a fan of her creations, go make this one next! 🤤🤤
