😥How long should you rest between sets?😥 . This one has become a big debate for years now. . I used to watch at my clock ALL THE TIME in my beginner years and when I surpassed the time frame I set to myself I was frustrated and thought I would have lost all the good old gains! . I was never sooo wrong with this one. Sure, because I used a clock, I lost a lot of potential gains in my early years. . And, to prevent that this happen to YOU, I created an infographic to show you that rest periods during sets don’t really matter at all! . You see, when it comes to building muscle, one of the most important variables is VOLUME! . Getting shorter rest periods can reduce volume (total work load) as your recovery in 1 minute is far less than having lets say 3 minutes of rest. Shorter rest periods equals less total work load can be produced because you cannot fully recover from your last set. . So to sum it up: Take as much break as you need to fully attack your next set.
