ON FIRE CROSSFIT - @treineonfire 🔥

Flex Friday what a great shoulder workout today! Gettin those boulders nice and round isn’t easy but then growing any body part takes hrs in the gym and a clean, healthy nutrient filled diet. Another important part of this equation is sleep and recovery. I’ve suffered with sleep deprivation for yrs. A snoring husband, pain and a crazy brain that just won’t shut off at night with worry and stress... I’ve finally found some peace and am managing my pain and stress better. My sleep is soooooo much better and training is more efficient and effective too! It’s a win win with more energy and I’m enjoying the early morning workout with results 😉👍🏋️♂️💪🏾. I’m gonna have a Good Friday and weekend and wish the same for everyone.
A lot of people ask me why I work out so much. There are so many reasons, and I will definitely make a video about it some time soon, but one of the main reasons why I work out is because it is THERAPY. I overheard two big guys in the gym once talking about some frustrations they had, and then they said "and that's why I come to gym: to get my anger out and feel better". My eyes widened when I heard this, because I thought I was the only one who did that. Since then I've learned that LOADS of people deal with their problems this way. Not many people know this, but I was really depressed for the last three years, and it is only in the last three months that I've started to feel better. It was such a dark time, but the ONLY two things that kept my head above the water was the support from my closest friends (which not everyone is fortunate enough to have) and WORKING OUT (which everyone can do, in one way or another). You feel frustrated, take it out on the weights or the pull up bar. You feel heartbroken, take it out on the weights. You feel depressed, take it out on the weights. The reason why this works so well is: firstly, your brain releases endorphins when you work out, you feel great because you get a natural high. Secondly, it tires you out and calms you down. You feel like punching someone? You won't when you can barely lift your arms cos you worked them so much. Working out humbles you. Thirdly, you convert negative energy that would have had negative effects into something positive. You're working on yourself, physically and mentally. You start to look better, perform better, people start giving you compliments, you begin to feel motivated again, so you start to feel better in your mind. THIS is one of the reasons why I work out so much. #StreetWorkout#Calisthenics#Calistenia#Barstarzz#Barbrothers#FitFam#Fitness#Hannibalforking#Planche#Frontlever#handstand#crossfit#freeletics#gym#workout#muscleup
