what an adventure for my first client after my vacation!
I did a hair cut on Avery a couple of weeks ago (which I used as her before picture, make sure to swipe to see it!!!) and she mentioned wanting color again!
Shout out to Avery for being so patient with me, this was only my second full foil, and I’m still working on my speed...
For our formula, we used L’art Powder and 20vol for the roots and mid lengths, L’art paste and 5vol for the ends (just to bump them a couple of levels), and we toned with the new Alchemic Silver conditioner.
Before and After.
This was a major change as I was dealing with repeated home bleaching and a very sensitive scalp. The hair is very fragile and delicate but I managed to lighten her root with back to back foils, a lot of them, as she would not be able to handle on the scalp lightener.
We got her to an Icy Blonde and I corrected a lot of uneven tones with a few different mixtures of toners to balance out her blonde.
Finishing off with a Nounou Hair Mask by Davines to complete this 4 hour process.
We cannot rush a corrective procedure or any colour process for that matter!
If you want a professional service done properly, depending on your hair's condition and length be realistic and understanding that it is a process to get you your desired result without damage.
That means a 3-4 hour appointment and not to expect a regular time if corrective work is involved or you haven't been to see a hairdresser in over a year.
After all we are respecting your hair, please respect our professionalism.
I think all hairstylists would agree on that last note.
