To help give back to their communities, share expert knowledge, and mentor future leaders, the Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumni Association of Nigeria (@MWFAAN) with support from the US Embassy Nigeria has launched #The#Impact#Project.
The project is set to happen across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria.
The project will kick off in February 2018 and is expected to last till April 2018 reaching an average of 1200 members of the YALI Network members across the country.
With growing youth unemployment levels in the country, the project seeks to empower beneficiaries with relevant 21st century skills to excel in their various fields of endeavor and for sustainability, connect them to relevant networks to help scale their various ventures, projects and businesses.
The project will equip participants with skills in the area of #fundraising, technology, healthcare #innovation, design thinking, #emotional Intelligence, #civic leadership, public management and #social entrepreneurship. It will also help participants to understand the need to actively volunteer for community development.
