Happy Monday! Since I’m curled up in bed hiding from the snow in the countryside I thought if post this trio of fun for the whole bod brought to you by my lovely fit pal @devonju - starting with Spider-Man push-ups.
Ouch. Love them though, amazing party trick. Second we’ve got a little sandbag clean, which are usually evil because the sandbags are from hell and aim to harm but these ones were light and I could barely even feel any stretch in my hamstrings etc etc blah blah so go heavier. Finally the alternating hand kettlebell swing, which is actually a better party trick than the Spider-Man push-up because I feel like WUZZAH catching it in mid air like a wizard. Anyways, I’m outtttttty. Need coffee desperately. Xoxo Gossip Cor
So you signed up for your first marathon; now what? You are most likely thinking, "What did I get myself into?" A marathon may seem like an intimidating and exhausting endeavor, but with the proper planning and preparation, you can make it through the 26.2 miles and be proud of your amazing accomplishment.
1) Find the right training plan.
2) Fueling and recovery.
3) Goal setting.
4) Mental preparation.
5) Get the right equipment.
6) what to eat before the race.
7) Understand it will be hard, but you can do it.
I will explain the above points in details in my upcoming posts. :)
I've been struggling a bit with body confidence issues in the last few months, mainly because I gained some fat over the second half of last year, and I'm finding it hard to get back to where I was this time last year. Having recently started logging all my food, keeping to tight but sustainable macro goals, I'm finally starting to see the results. Feeling like I'm back on track 💪😅
