Ln_Gourmet Crostoli: it is difficult to resist this typical Carnival sweet. Many Friulian families jealously preserve their own recipe. The only things all these private recipes have in common are the basic fundamental ingredients: pastry flour, eggs, sugar, butter, white wine, grappa, orange and lemon zest and rhum. Top Sauvignon Blanc from the Friuli region near the border of Slovenia. Lis Neris - Picol 2015 (88 tsomw points) In the glass a bright golden yellow color. On the nose delicate aromas of pineapple, goosberry, citrus with hints of tomato leaves, sage and mint. On the palate well balanced, dry, medium bodied with nice mineral notes, great acidity and freshness.
