In ogni angolo del nostro paese, a Novembre, si celebra la festa del ringraziamento. Diversamente dalla tradizione americana che coinvolge tutta la popolazione, in Italia riguarda solo il mondo agricolo. In passato era un ringraziamento diretto e circoscritto tra la comunità e il suo territorio, strettamente legato alle tradizioni socio-religiose locali e, qualche volta, anche alle leggende. Oggi, in seguito alle rivoluzioni in campo economico e agricolo, il contadino è diventato imprenditore e l’economia rurale si è aperta al mondo, di conseguenza il ringraziamento non può avere un aspetto solo locale. Sentiamo sempre il bisogno di ringraziare ma anche il dovere di difendere e valorizzare ogni giorno le caratteristiche dell’ambiente che ci circonda. Siamo tutti figli della stessa terra e tutti possiamo e dobbiamo prendercene cura.

Barcolana, a real festival of the sea, over 2000 sail boats are already registered for the 49th edition of the sailing regatta with the world’s highest number of participants. Trieste with its imperial outline, will welcome people from all over the world. During the whole weekend, on the "Rive" (banks) there will be a lot of events. At the FVG Wine Bar, run by the FVG Sommelier Association, local wines will be protagonists, Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon on top of the list. Ask for Ms Faustina. Go Friuli Venezia Giulia!

Much is being said about bizarre seasons and this year’s harvest is the proof of it. We started with sun and high temperatures, whereas snow is guarding these last days of work. We must be well prepared …. to put on a jacket will not be an issue!
