You may see just another running video but I see a girl thankful to be running - again!
Many of you know I had to drop from the @chevronhoustonmarathon due to piriformis issues. (My fav race 😭) I was having pain when running and had begun to compensate with a limp/run which started to cause other issues. I needed to slow my roll 🤚
What has happened since then: I had PRP injections in the piriformis, saw a sports and injury doctor for rehab, cryotherapy, and rest. The comeback has been slow and as silly as this sounds I am teaching myself how to run “normal” again! My body kept wanting to compensate for the fear of feeling the pain even though it was gone!
NOT ANYMORE!!! 👉🏽No one is immune to setbacks, injuries, or struggles! Its the fight that separates us! The body will remember! It’s the mind that needs to believe we are strong enough to
