Thursdays are my paydays. Not every other Thursday. Not once a month. EVERY SINGLE WEEK.
I remember when I used to get paid every other week and I’d dread waiting to have enough to go out, or buy a ticket to see Matt, or splurge on some new jeans 😉 Today, I got to look at these new weights we just bought with a small portion of my paycheck (because those 10s and 15s just weren’t cutting it for #demgainz when we worked out together 😉💪🏻)
Now, when I see that paycheck come in weekly, it’s a reflection of the people I help, and that realllllllly gets me motivated to push even harder the next week. YES, I get paid to help others with their fitness and nutrition, and to get them on a path to see progress and live healthy lifestyles 💖 #noquickfixes There is NO shame in that. I think it’s amazing how many people have jumped at this opportunity and decided that they want to help others too 💕💕
There’s enough success for everyone in the world, and there’s ALWAYS people that need our help. Happy pay day team!! Congratulations on changing lives, one at a time 💜

"I know now that there was one thing I didn't have the slightest clue about when it came to my relationship with him -- how to allow him to just pursue me. I didn't realize that by his perfect grace and love he would simply meet me where I'm at.
This is when I began to learn the difference between self care and soul care. Much of self care is about what we do for ourselves, the things that we strive for and hope will fill us. I didn't realize it at the time, but I had put my relationship with Jesus on my checklist as nothing more than an activity to fit in and check off with the others. It's no wonder my soul felt dry!
Because soul care, unlike self care, is about receiving what Jesus already freely offers us. And this is the key to the abundant life that actually does fill us." -- excerpt from today's blog post at Soul Care for the New Mom (link in profile) ❤️ I would love to hear how this post is an encouragement to you!
I am a “taking-three-kids-to-costco-and-the-library-solo” Warrior.
The older two got out of school early, like they do every Thursday. So we rushed through snack, chill time, and clean up so that we could go to the library and Costco.
But this momma is smart and did Costco first so that I could threaten my children with not going to the library if they didn’t behave.
They all did wonderfully.
But the library was a little stressful because they are all getting to the point that they don’t need my supervision- so they tend to scatter. But I still need to keep an eye on them. Also, they still need help finding the books they need.
Like I said.
