It was raining. Raining hard. The event director told us that maybe we had to change the venue, since the real stage was soaking wet.
It wasn't ideal. But the show must go on, right?
The first time I learned the harshness of being a show-man was more than 10 years ago. No matter how tired my body was, how stressed my mind was, all I got was only a saying, "Do whatever you can to make sure your performance is good. Your audience doesn't care about excuses." So I learned how to put on a smile while hanging on a thread and dealing with my own troubles.
This time was no different.
But in the end, when it's all played and done, and I heard your claps and saw your smiles. I think it was worth it.
And #urbangigssmg 's audience was so appreciative. I'm glad I met them all that night.
