|| Beef fry ||
Before I tell you about this dish, let me talk about this restaurant.
One of the finer restaurants in Delhi, this place is located right next to one of the metro Gates at INA. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall shack but has a proper seating area inside and you'll get to meet real food lovers if you come down here.
The menu is a NO non sense one. They basically have 5/6 different kinds of preparations with 5/6 different kinds of proteins.
So you've got ghee roast, stir fry, chilly, masala, curry, stew, biryani...
And in terms of protein & seafood, they've got : beef,chicken,mutton,eggs,fish,
crab, shrimps... I've heard a lot about their beef preparations and the aunty suggested me to try their Beef fry with Kerala parotha.
The flavour profile of the beef fry is very complex. The first taste that you'll get is definitely coconut. The beef is fried in coconut oil & I believe the masala mix also has grated coconut in it. Other than this, the dominating flavour is that of coriander. The beef pieces had a really nice crust but was perfectly cooked through. The parotha was oh so flaky and not oily at all. They also gave me a bowl of beef stock which was frankly not needed.
The best part is that the food here is dirt cheap.
@roshmidutta recommend me this place and I'm glad that she did. If you're in Delhi, do not miss out on this hidden gem.
