People are often surprised when I say I don't do cardio, specifically traditional cardio. i.e running ๐Ÿ˜ฑ It's highly unlikely you'll ever see me out running, I just cannot stand it, 100 metres fine, anymore and my mind starts messing with me. Give me a dumbbell and I'm a happy girl, show me a running track and I'm off. I have tried it before but never lasted more than a few days. I have clients who love running, if you love it then do it, if you do it because you think you should then don't. I always think of Gary v โ€œdocument, donโ€™t create!โ€ โžก๏ธ this is me, right now, on my couch, comfy, and chillin with some peppermint tea while my bf plays guitar in the bedroom ๐ŸŽธ Sundayโ€™s have generally been both my favorite day and also stressfulโ€”๏ฟฝ I try to get everything done at once and feel like I never have โ€œenough timeโ€. But, today, I just worked on trusting in life enough to release my right grasp on it.. and Iโ€™m feeling so chill right now! I woke up early and watched a documentary with my boyfriend, showered, updated my fitness coach, did grocery shopping (farmers market, Whole Foods, AND Trader Joeโ€™s!), had a great workout at the gym, made lunch, did laundry, shared a blog, a typed out a 3 month coaching outline, made dinner (and enjoyed it), talked to my mom, put away laundry, macro planned for tomorrow, aaaaand meal prepped alllll my lunches for this week!!! And now Iโ€™m chillin out with tea, ready to lay down and read in bed with my boyfriend ๐Ÿ˜ seriously preparing for the week is such a relieving feeling !! I feel like Iโ€™m totally setting myself up for success just by cooking ahead of time! Oh my goodness I came across this woman and her story and I was just literally amazed my Sunday share goes to-- ยท Meet my friend and see what she has to say! . . Here's some motivation for today! I constantly have to remind myself of where I came from because I still have days where I feel like I'm not good enough. I make it a point to say something positive about my journey everyday and to embrace the journey....not the destination. No one can do this for you. When you decide to stop making excuses and do something to change you will have a different outlook on life ! I eat 3 meals a day and 1 or 2 snacks. My calorie intake right now is around 1800 calories ...however when I was losing majority of my weight I was at about 1200 calories . The only way to lose weight is to put yourself in a caloric deficit, meaning you MUST burn more calories than you're taking in I highly suggest buying a polar watch to measure the amount of calories you're burning per workout and chart it to make sure you're burning enough calories . Limit your cheat days to one meal every two weeks until your metabolism boosts and finally throw the scale away.
