The balance has been revived after the most hectic few weeks & days - have you been running yourself on a thin line, perusing, doing, fixing and wishing? These are such busy Mumma traits attempting to achieve it all so the family doesn’t fall apart. 💁🏼♀️We put ourselves last and continue on a rocky path only just making most days before dropping to bed to start again. 🙋🏼♀️ Tip 1: you must get a least 30mins -1hour alone to walk, yoga or exercise. This is YOUR health we are talking about. ‘But I can’t’ .. I hear you say? Yes - I get it too! Single working mum? Kids? Long days all these factors are valid points or excuses. The fact is if you do not give yourself this time - you will not get the best health for you. They all need you! And you functioning and healthy plus with a mood enhancing smile occasionally 🤣🤣! So how to: teach the kids to get themselves organised, get the kids busy doing something & workout at home, turn those headphones on, tell the kids what is happening and do not give up on training the kids to allow you that ‘Mum time’ as it is very important too. You are not being selfish nor should you have guilt. This is life - kids will become more resilient this way too. Life is for all to live- including you. 💕b.x

But I wake daily, I make a list and I get done what I can. I apologise when I need too and I try evidently hard to look for all the good but when it gets too much I just stop; I switch off for 5 minutes and breathe. 40 years old vs 30 years old ~ She is still the same person; living and providing for her two children to the best of her ability. Working as hard as she can daily to educate others and completing the same Mum chores list. She is happy but tired, she is self conscious but still makes others laugh; she is sometimes dreadfully upset with her self for her choices but continues to make the same excuses. Do you know anyone like that? Yes me too. Yes this is ME! I was where many find themselves today & tonight wondering what to do 🙋🏼♀️ the difference is very evident to us yet we hide from our own truth I know I did too. My thighs rubbed together and so much that I got chaff & I had to buy longer denim shorts in the hope to hide my thighs. My tummy was over my pants so I pulled them up higher to tuck it in. I was moody and lethargic and it was affecting my family life.
Until one day - I decided I’d had enough! No one could do this for me .. ONLY me ..ONLY I could change and from now on I was going to be consistent with my food and my fitness.
